LeFormidable made his debut at the 2019 KWPN Stallion Licensing where he was crowned Champion, impressing the entire audience with his presence and incredible paces, becoming the immediate favourite. He is known for his elegance, powerful hindleg, and flexibility even at his young age he is showing great promise under saddle, "Lots of self-carriage, impulsion, flexibility and a fantastic hind leg". His first crop and subsequent crops of foals are now showing up at auctions and are proving to be striking, elegant offspring which are catching the eye and super movers.

Bordeaux was the winner of the KWPN licensing in 2009, then won the stallion performance test in Ermelo. In 2012, he placed fourth with Eva Möller in the final of the World Championships for six-year old dressage horses in Verden. In winter 2012 & 2013 Bordeaux qualified with victories in the KWPN stallion series. Under Möller Bordeaux was trained to developing grand prix level and represented Norway at the 2017 European Championship under Isabel Freese-Bache.

Le Formidable's damline consists of the most outstanding and influential bloodlines a stallion could hold, his dam Vienna holds an Elite status and is the dam of licensed stallion Four Legends KS and multiple Elite mares. Damsire Ferro has offspring which speak for themselves, more than 40 licensed sons, with names such as Metall, Negro, and Rousseau. His grand-sons and grand-daughters are currently at the very top of the sport across the globe; Valegro (by Negro) and Uthopia (by Metall) were part of the London 2012 Olympic gold-medal-winning team, with Valegro's success in sport being unparalleled.

The foal maker! He makes headlines time and time again: Champion Stallion and stallion market price record holder V-Power. His foals regularly fetch top prices: in Verden/GER, Valegro and Van Dango sold for €51,000 and €36,000 respectively, in Münster-Handorf/GER, Viva Marcia and Valentino KR were auctioned for €44,000 and €40,000, and in Oldenburg, Virtuoso and Veritas sold for €35,000 and €30,500. At the German Foal Championships in Lienen, bronze went to a V-Power daughter.

The charismatic V-Power was already celebrated with standing ovations at his licensing in 2022 in Münster-Handorf/GER. He also confirmed his breathtaking basic quality under saddle. At his stallion performance test in Denmark, he received a straight "very good" (9.0) for his rideability and galloping ability. His trot and capacity were rated 8.5. With a total of 831.0 points, he ranked fourth in a very strong field. V-Power had already impressed in his short test in Münster-Handorf/GER under the saddle of Maxi Kira von Platen. In 2025, he also received the Oldenburg Ib main premium.

His sire Viva Gold is a grandson of the Olympic Champion, European Champion, and multiple World Cup winner Weihegold OLD under Isabell Werth. He himself was a stallion performance test winner, Oldenburg Vice State Champion, two-time Bundeschampionat qualifier, and won the Louisdor Prize Final in 2025 under Isabell Werth by a landslide. He sired 26 licensed sons.

The dam Finess also produced the licensed stallion Belmore (by Belissimo M), who enjoyed international Grand Prix success under Joanna Robinson/FIN. Finess' daughter Rocket Girl (by Rock Forever I) produced the licensed stallion Vitz Gerald PS (by Valverde), who placed in dressage horse tests, and the serial winner in the Small Tour, Toto Django (by Totilas).

The dam's sire is our Grand Prix-successful Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2021, Fidertanz. According to the WBFSH ranking, he has been one of the world's best dressage sires for years.

Premium stallion, record stallion performance test winner and four-year-old World Champion

"A very nice performance by an extremely talented horse," was the jury's opening comment on Proud James' victory in the four-year-old competition at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo/NED. The trot is active and with a high degree of swing (8.8), the canter energetically uphill (8.7), the walk in a clear four-beat (8.3), rideability 8.5 and general impression 8.8. With a score of 86.200 percent with Maxi Kira von Platen/GER, victory was his for the taking. Proud James thus confirmed his record stallion performance test victory in the Netherlands, in which he scored 91 points. The walk, trot, canter, rideability and potential were each awarded a 9.0, while the self-carriage and suppleness received a dream score of 10.

Proud James is out of the first crop of foals of the stallion Jameson RS2, who came eighth at the World Championships for young dressage horses as a five-year-old and who was again successful in the seven-year-old class in 2021 with Marieke van der Putten/NED. The pair has now achieved international placings in the small tour. Jameson RS2 won his stallion performance test in the Netherlands, as well as the Pavo-Cup and twice the stallion final in s'Hertogenbosch/NED (10 for canter). Several sons from his first crops have been licensed.

His dam elite, prok Cyraniek, already produced the KWPN licensed stallion W-Horseland Inverness/Brecht D'Hoore/NED, who was victorious in international Small Tour in Aachen. Her half sister keur, pref, prest Niniek STV (by Jazz) was placed in Grand Prix and produced the licensed stallion Beukenvallei's Iconic B (by Bon Bravour), who was placed in Inter I, as well as the two Inter I horses Up Seven and Chopard B (both by OO Seven). Cyraniek's half brother Omar STV (by Gregor) was successful in 1.30m show jumping competitions.

His dam's sire Johnson has led the WBFSH ranking of the best dressage sires in the world since 2022. He himself was one of the most successful Grand Prix horses of his time with Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED, winning team bronze at the WEG in Caen/FRA in 2014, team gold and individual bronze at the European Championships in Aachen in 2015 and taking ninth place in the individual ranking at the Olympic Games in Rio/BRA in 2016.

With his excellent conformation and spectacular movement, Donkey Boy immediately catches the eye. His career is just as exemplary. In 2015, he was premium stallion at the Danish stallion licensing and won his stallion performance test with 9.5 for walk and canter and 8.5 for trot. Overall, he received the final score of 889.5 points. The following year, he was Champion Stallion in the four-year-old class in Herning/DEN and won the Danish Young Horse Championships with a final score of 9.6.

Remarkably he defended this title the following year with exceptional scores: 10 for walk, canter and rideability and 9.0 for trot. Final score: 9.96. He also secured the bronze medal at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo/NED. In 2018, as a six-year-old, he was placed again at the World Championships, and then in 2019, as a seven-year-old, he won the silver medal. He also defended his title at the Danish Championships for six and seven-year-olds.

In 2020, he won competitions up to Inter I with scores of over 75 percent.

Hesselhøj Donkey Boy is a very modern and expressive stallion. These qualities also characterise his offspring, who are already successful in competitions, like Hesselhøj Downtown, who was the best four-year-old dressage horse in Denmark in 2020 with a final score of 9.80. From his first crops of foals, he produced two licensed stallions.

Hesselhøj Donkey Boy comes from one of the best bloodlines in Denmark. His sire ERA Dancing Hit (out of Sumatra Hit, by Andro Hit, Champion Mare and mare performance test winner) was Champion Stallion and stallion performance test winner in Denmark in 2011 and won the gold breeding medal. After an accident in 2012, the stallion had to be put down.

The dam Søbakkehus Kamilja is the fifth elite mare in his pedigree and is herself successful up to advanced (S) level. Donkey Boy's half-sister Hesselhøj Donkeygirl (by Uno Don Diego) produced the licensed stallion Hesselhøj Skyfall (by Sir Donnerhall I). The dam's sire Milan also won the gold medal as best three and four-year-old and went on to be highly successful at Grand Prix level.
